Patrick Lindsay
As President/CEO of EDI, Patrick Lindsay is responsible for the company’s operations, including the oversight of all environmental remediation and demolition projects. Mr. Lindsay is widely known and respected in the industry, with over forty years experience in project management, cost controls, procurement and training. His experience ranges from managing large demolition projects to designing complex remediation jobs.
Mr. Lindsay spent over 28 years managing heavy industrial projects, 16 years with Invirex Demolition, where he supervised the demolition and salvage of power plants, chemical plants, paper mills, complicated high risk structures and skyscrapers, and remediation of uranium mills. Prior to forming EDI, Mr. Lindsay was the Regional Vice President for a national environmental remediation and demolition company.
In November 2002, Mr. Lindsay was selected to receive the Colorado Environmental Achievement Award. EDI was the first and only construction contractor to receive this prestigious award. In August 2004, EDI was ranked #2 among its peers of Environmental Specialty Contractors by Colorado Construction Magazine. In both April 2005 and 2006, Mr. Lindsay was awarded the National, ICIC-Inc. Magazine Inner City Top 100 Award in 2005 and 2006. EDI was ranked 38th and 44th for achieving over 620% growth over 5 years.
Scott Lackas
As Vice President of Operations, Scott Lackas is responsible for the management of Specialty Construction projects, Home Builder Warranty 24-Hour Response Services, water intrusion and mold remediation. Scott supervises all project superintendents, foremen and is responsible for ensuring job safety, environmental controls, site activities, productivity and subcontractor performance. Mr. Lackas is widely known and respected in the environmental industry. He has over two decades of experience in environmental, asbestos and demolition projects with an additional ten years of construction experience. Mr. Lackas has managed projects in excess of $5,500,000 with a crew in excess of 200 field technicians.
Sean Helton
Sean Helton, Vice President of EDI, has twenty years experience in asbestos and lead-based paint abatement. As EDI’s senior estimator, his responsibilities include specification review, draft clarifications, addenda requests, all field and blueprint take-offs, proposal writing, soliciting subcontracts and interfacing with the client, governmental regulatory agencies and project management.
Mr. Helton’s responsibilities are comprised of all aspects of environmental operations, including ensuring safety, regulatory compliance, and the efficient completion of projects. He has earned the respect of clients, consulting firms, and regulatory agencies.
Prior to joining EDI, Mr. Helton worked as an Estimator/Project Manager for MARCOR Remediation, Inc. in Georgia.
